Al Pacino, who has long been interested in tackling the character of Napoleon, is set to play the French strongman in a movie based on the children's book "Betsy and the Emperor." The indie production is scheduled to start filming in late autumn. John Curran ("The Painted Veil") is attached to direct from an adaptation of Staton Rabin's book. Pacino was last in theaters with the 2008 crime drama "Righteous Kill," which also starred Robert De Niro.
