Little Mister Monongalia County made a special presentation to the West Virginia University Children's Hospital on Wednesday. Hayden Lynch, 7, brought a basket full of kids movies to the Children's Hospital wing. This was not just a random act of kindness.
Hayden has first hand experience on what it is like to spend time in Children's Hospital. “Hayden used to be one of our patients and he was here for a very long time. One of the services that we offer our patients here is we have movies. Unfortunately, every one that Hayden wanted was checked out when he went to go find it. S,o you know him being Mister Mon, he had the awesome opportunity to go get these donations for us and maybe help the kids who are looking for a specific movie next time,” said Joe Wisemantel, a child life specialist at WVU Children’s Hospital. Hayden's year as Little Mister Mon County will end next week at the Monongalia County Fair.
